My path to postpartum doula work began with a firsthand understanding of how isolating and overwhelming the early weeks can feel—especially when feeding and sleep aren’t going smoothly. I now support families through postpartum recovery with steady, practical care and compassionate presence, helping parents feel less alone as they find their rhythm.

I offer postpartum doula support alongside babywearing education, with options for 1:1 guidance and group workshops. I’m also a certified elimination communication and potty training consultant, supporting families with both workshops and individual consultations to help make the move away from diapers feel clear, doable, and aligned with your child’s temperament and your household.

As a longtime pre- and post-natal yoga teacher, I also offer yoga classes and private sessions that emphasize gentle, nervous-system-supportive movement, breathwork, and mindfulness—so you can care for your body while caring for your baby, and feel more grounded through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

To learn more about what we offer, I highly recommend checking out the MotherWit Doula Care website. If you are able to attend a free “Meet the Doula Night” on Zoom, all the better :)

I’m here to support new parents.

What is a Postpartum Doula?

A Postpartum Doula supports new parents in finding their footing with information, emotional support, and practical help in the home. We are non-medical birth professionals who are very different from nannies and home cleaning services. Each family has a unique combo of needs, so I prefer not to pigeon-hole.

Science!!!

Big huge nerd over here. I have lost count of the number of books and studies on baby care that I’ve consumed. All of us at MotherWit Doula Care take pride in the fact that we continually re-educate ourselves with the most up-to-date knowledge. I can provide accurate information in a neutral fashion so you can make informed decisions about your parenting. Questions about infant sleep and attachment? Feeding and diapering? Motor development? All of this falls under my neurodivergent special interest of baby care and I will be thrilled to infodump on you if invited to do so.

Here to hold space for all the feels

Becoming a parent can be so overwhelming, and can sometimes come with grief and heavy feelings. I hold space for a lot of my clients to process their big feelings out loud over a cup of tea.

Laundry & Cleaning

Babies bring SO. MUCH. LAUNDRY to your life. And not only that, but they also won’t let you fold laundry very often!! (how rude!) Save a few baskets of clean laundry for me to fold when I come and I’ll leave you with folded laundry, or hang wet laundry to dry.

Cooking & Baking

I’ve always been an avid cook and baker, and it has been such a joy to me to cook for my clients and their families, to feed them and nourish them, to aid in recovery, and honestly? it’s hard to get both hands free to make something halfway healthy when you are postpartum. Allow your postpartum doula to feed you :)

I personally have been vegan for 14 years, but I am happy to cook whatever you have the ingredients for. Truly, I cook meat, dairy and eggs for clients all the time. If some healthy plant-based food would hit the spot, though, I mean … I don’t wanna brag but some of my clients have dubbed me “The Kween of Tofu” … just sayin’ 😂

Below is a little gallery of the food I cook at home. I can wing it with what you have in your kitchen, cook from a recipe of your choosing, or I can send you a curated collection of recipes I often make for my clients, which includes ingredients for you to pick up in your weekly grocery shop.
